  • First and Only Afghan Cuisine in Portland
  • Introducing a Unique Menu to Portland
  • Wide Selection of Vegetarian Options
  • Meat Entrées are Halal

We are introducing Portland, Oregon to a traditional culinary experience from Afghanistan. Afghanistan is situated at the meeting place of four major cultural areas: the Middle East, Central Asia, the Indian subcontinent, and the Far East. In short, Afghanistan has been a melting pot for a large number of cultures and traditions over the centuries, and these different influences can be detected in the variety of Afghan food and the regional specialties. You will find many similarities with Greek, Turkish, Middle Eastern, Persian, Central Asian, Indian, and even Far Eastern foods and dishes. This is a family owned restaurant and we hope you enjoy this experience.
